Missing boy Ben Ownby from Missouri Found alive with another missing boy!

Thus far this is all we have:

(KMOV) – Numerous sources close to the investigation tell News 4 that authorities have located two missing boys from the St. Louis area, Ben Ownby and Shawn Hornbeck.


Reports are just coming in, and authorities say they have located the two missing boys in an apartment in suburban St. Louis.


Ownby, 13, has been missing since Monday from Franklin County, where he was last seen after getting off of his school bus.


Authorities have been searching for the boy ever since, focusing many of their efforts on reports of a white pickup truck in the area.


Shawn Hornbeck, from St. Francis County, has been missing since 2002. He was last seen on his bike heading to a friend's home in Richwoods, Missouri.

Wow - Unbelievable!!!! I live in St. Louis too, but have been busy DIS-ing. I need to check this out. I remember the whole Shawn H. disappearance well. Talk to you all soon!

That boy who saw the truck and gave such great details should get lots of accolades!! He is a hero!!

I almost don't believe it...like the miner story last year.....too good to be true....especially if the other boy has been missing for so long!!

It's a very sought after area!!! Houses are a lot and very good school district.

What is scary is I just picked my daughter up from walking home from school with friends. Scary!!!!

I am in tears. I have been praying everyday for Ben--I would catch a thought and think "Hang on Ben" or "Ben come home" and I am so happy right now!!

DH and I were just talking about it not even 10 minutes ago and then I came in the house and sat down here and seen the thread and clicked on it and ran to the Living room!!

Thank you God for allowing these 2 boys to be united with their families!!
