So I'm currently dealing in a come back of my chronic illness that has been made even worse by unexpectantly becoming pregnant. Anyways I'm bedridden and have been bored so I decided to go back and listen to all the Disunplugged podcasts available on the site.

So I started in 2007 and today Ireached March/April of 2008 and
I'm an emotional wreck. Just hearing Bob have plans for the future and knowing he didn't get to do those things has made me so emotional. I'm missing him today. :-(

I hear you! Bawb will always have special place in my heart. :goodvibes

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I have been on the boards since 2007 and noticed that I am no longer earning my ears! I am a Mouseketeer! I visit the boards every single day. Just dont post often. And I remember how crushed I was when Bawb passed away. And how much I love the Disboards.

He was certainly unique. I regret I never got a chance to meet him in person.

I hope you are able to get your health concerns back to remission. I know being pregnant adds extra stressors. My prayers are with you....and I'm sure Bob's would be too!

I hope that you get better soon! Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Even though I didn't know Bob, one of the things that struck me by listening to him on the podcast was that he never seemed to feel sorry for himself. I don't think that walking around with a boot, or having to use the cart all the time in the parks could have been easy, but there was nothing about Bob that came across as having anything other than an "I can do that" attitude.

Not that I'm saying you're feeling sorry for yourself. Just giving you another way to look at things.

Bawb was great and a great loss. The Archie Bunker character he played by mispronouncing words, and Kevin and the teams reactions were priceless.

:thumbsup2 I agree, every once in a while when I am having a rough day at work I find an old episode with him...hearing him turns my mood right around. :goodvibes

congrats and good luck with your health....
