Missing anyone special this holiday!Tell them here

To my husband - my first Christmas without you..

-------------------

Remember when I was young and so were you,
and time stood still and love was all we knew..
You were the first, so was I, we made love and then you cried
Remember when..

Remember when we vowed the vows, and walked the walk
Gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard
We lived and learned, life threw curves,
There was joy, there was hurt
Remember when..

Remember when old ones died and new were born
And life was changed, disassembled, rearranged
We came together, fell apart,
And broke each others hearts
Remember when..

Remember when the sound of little feet, was the music
We danced to week to week
Brought back the love, we found trust,
Vowed we'd never give it up
Remember when..

Remember when thirty seemed so old
Now lookin' back it's just a steppin' stone
To where we are
Where we've been
Said we'd do it all again
Remember when..

Remember when we said when we turned gray
When the children grow up and move away
We won't be sad, we'll be glad
For all the life we've had
And we'll remember when............

-------------------------

Always and forever,
Love, "Me" :sad1:

Miss you Dad (RIP 7/22/94)
Every Christmas we remember you with peppermint lifesavers and milky way bars - just a little something to keep your memory alive.
Your Grandson is now a teenager! I remember those special Grandfather/Grandson times - wish you had more of them.

Jimbo- I miss you every day and still have days where I feel guilty for not being there when you passed, but that is how you wanted it. You are forever my little brother and I am keeping the promises I made to you.

Dad- You were and are an inspiration to all of us and four years later we are still learning about all the lives you touched in a such a positive way. I am keeping my promise to you where Mom is concerned. You live within me and I am doing my best to continue making you proud. I will never forget the tears in your eyes the day I graduated from college at 40 years old. I know your pride was getting the best of you. What you didn't know is that when I marched past you I too had tears in my eyes because I knew what it meant to you. It was not just for me, but for you as well. I will love you til the day I die and beyond.

Missing my Mom at Christmas. She's been gone 8 years already. She was more than just my mom she was one of my best friends. She would have loved to have seen DIsney at Christmas as we've been able to do a few times. She would have enjoyed our Christmas cruise last year.

No matter where we are or what we are doing I know she is always at my side. Our Christmas tree is filled with the Hallmark Frosty Friends ornaments she loved so much. We've continued to collect them in honor of her.

Dad, I miss you as much now as I did when you passed away almost 9 years ago. Your wife has decided to move on and not associate with us any more which has been particularly hard on your grandson. I know that you never would have done that and so does he.

Grandma and Oma, I miss you two fine ladies and I'll always associate the holidays with you. I'll remember your birthdays; one on Christmas Eve and the other the day before as a part of our holiday observances. I wish that I could wish you both Happy Birthday in person just one more time.

Uncle Danny, thank you for your humor and kindness. You were the best Godfather that someone could ever have. :)

Warm thoughts and hugs to everyone on this thread..... :grouphug:

To my special Poppa.....
It's hard to believe that this will be our 5th Christmas without you. I still remember how special our private talks were on the couch after Christmas dinner. I'll always cherish that special bond we shared. You're never far from my thoughts. I love you Poppa.

Dad,

Even through all the hard times in our lives, you were still my father. You have been gone since April, and we still have our moments of tears and sadness.

I miss the way you were before you had your stroke 7 years ago. I have grieved for you twice now. I hope you are in a peaceful place.

We have the blue tree lit in the yard this year in remembrance of you. I love you.

Kay

I am crying like a baby but could use this thread.

Grandpa - (rip 6/05) I miss you so much. If you were still around we would be skiing together this saturday. I have many great memories with you. It is so hard to believe that you are gone, you were the strongest out of everyone I have known.

Grandma - (rip 10/05) I wish you weren't taken away from us so soon. It was so sudden and very hard. I have regretted not being so pushy and cooking you a dinner even though you said you don't need it. If I would have cooked that dinner for you, I could have talked to you one more time. I miss you, please give me a sign that you are okay.

Lou - (rip 12/05) I know that you are no longer in pain but I am still sad that you are gone. Whenever I see anything about the Broncos I always think of you, I am going to miss the Christmas Day calls to you.
