Missing 12 Year Old From Our Community- LOCATED IN FLORIDA

I hope this is okay to post here. Definitely off topic but need prayers and pixie dust for this family, and I figure the more people that see this story the better.

Rosie Orr is a 12 year old girl who went missing following school on Friday from Muscatine, Iowa. They are thinking that she has possibly gone with someone she met on the Internet. They don't know if she willingly went or not. The last phone call made on her phone was to someone in Jacksonville Florida. Some are saying that she was planning on going to Texas with him.

Anytime I hear stories like this my heart breaks. It's heartbreaking to think that someone her age believes that what she is walking into is better than what she has at home. But this story is especially hard because we know this girl. She plays soccer with Madi.

Nikki, I'm not sure unless friends have said or if they are assuming sheshouldnt know anyone in Florida??? She is pretty secluded in to our community I believe. She doesn't even go to out of town soccer games.

Yes, hopefully the local police have already served the parent's wireless provider a subpoena to get that started.

It show's she was found. Thank God. Make sure to hug your kids and tell them how much you love them every moment you get. Be sure to tell them about the dangers out there too!

I'm so glad she's okay!! I was just thinking today about how horrible it would be for your child to go missing. I know I'm going to be extra careful with my two little ones and make sure I do everything in my power never to let anything like this happen to them. I hope that guy gets arrested!!!

He drove to IOWA and picked her up. She had her cell phone turned off from Friday until today. She finally turned it back on. Very, Very scary.

The internet is a wonderful tool, but it's so easy for perverted, sick adults to take advantage of young people with the internet. For us parents/grandparents it's just one more thing to be watchful for.

And that's exactly what we see on those Dateline stings. These predators know exactly what they're doing. I hope they throw the book at him, as well as any sharp objects at hand.
