Missed FOP window

i was able to snag two FOP Fastpasses (different windows) for later today, but hubby and I aren’t going to be able to get there in time for the first window. What are the chances that they will let me ride with him later during his window, if I show them on my phone that I missed my window? Better luck if I go to guest relations?

I don't know how to assess your chances. Guess it just depends on the CM.

I think it will depend on how much you miss it by. They generally offer a grace period of about 15 minutes, and if it's only a little longer than that you may be able to argue your case and/or get lucky with a nice CM.

We once missed a window by exactly an hour because I got the time mixed up in my head, and they wouldn't honor it. (not that we asked them to or tried to talk our way in or anything, just that we got blue lighted and sent along our way)

I was there a couple weeks ago and it seemed the CMs were being strict about FP times. And, imo, rightfully so. It’s not fair to the other folks who show up on time if they just let everyone through. No offense.

If you're missing the window by say 20 min, then you can ask and they might let you.

If you're missing the window by a significant amount of time, you can ask the CM at the ride but I doubt they let you on and you should assume you won't ride.

Zero reason to go by guest service. And no offense to you, but this is why I couldn't work at guest service. I'd say sorry and to try to book it for a time you could make it. That you couldn't just book any time and then show up when you choose.

It's always worth an ask, but FOP is THE MOST POPULAR ride right now, so I would expect to hear a no and have your plan ready for what you want to do.

Since it's already after 6:00 p.m., can you tell us what happened?

I was able to pick up a fresh set of two FPs on the Minnie Van over, so we were good to go - no special treatment asked or received, no offense given or taken.
