ABC decided not to renew their contract for next year with the pageant. Miss America said they're already in talks with other networks to pick it up.

Frankly who cares. It is an ancient throwback to early TV's T&A, long outlived its time.

I would rather watch women compete in something athletic or intellectual instead of shaking their butts in a bathing suit for judges whose only qualifcation is celebrity.

I, on the other hand, am a big fan of the "shaking of their butts in a bathing suit".
