Misplaced hopper - Am I being paranoid or not?

So, my hopper is already linked to MDE, so I know I shouldn't be worried, but I can't find the darn thing anywhere. It's driving me crazy! I have everyone else's but mine. What if, by some slim chance, someone found it? Would they be able to use it? I'm guessing I may have thrown it out by mistake, but, like I said, I'm a little nervous. And sooooo annoyed that I misplaced it!!

The ticket is not needed.
But, if you want, you CAN go to a Guest Relations at WDW and get a replacement card for free.

What if, by some slim chance, someone found it? Would they be able to use it?

That someone would have to know if it was valid or not.
A fully-used-up ticket looks identical to a brand new ticket.

The other thing you can do is to
call WDW Ticketing Guest Relations at (407) 566-4985 (option 5)
and have them deactivate that ticket card.

Then, you don't have to worry about anyone finding it and trying to use it.

Thanks! I really think it's either in the trash or somewhere in the house, maybe buried under the couch cushions, so I know I shouldn't stress. But being that it is already linked, wouldn't I have to remove or reassign it in order for it to be used? (On the extremely slim chance that it was found).

You would just be canceling the current CARD.
They could link your ticket asset (even with a new number, if they so choose) directly to your MDE account in the same transaction.

BTW, in a similar situation, they cancel "lost" AP cards all the time, and instantly re-issue
a new, fully-operational replacement in less than 2 minutes at Guest Relations and ticket booths.
