Misinformation on the Disney website

I'm disappointed but not surprised when I find blatant errors on the Disney website. (I suspect that if editors were ever employed, they've been laid off.)

The howler of the day comes from the dining pages:

Comprised of six comfortable rooms, Liberty Tree Tavern is furnished with colonial artifacts and provides a pleasant respite from the bustle outside. Duck in for a leisurely lunch, or a quick bite while waiting for your Haunted Mansion attraction FASTPASS time to arrive.​

I noticed an error on the disney site as well. If you look at the photos of the pools at ASSports, you will see a pic of the Mighty Ducks pool. The M ducks pool is actually part of ASMovies.

Haunted Mansion doesn't have FastPass anymore.

I notice typos and spelling errors on the Disney site all the time. I can't believe a corporation that size wouldn't have editors checking everything. I work in corporate marketing and everything has to be proofread before being released.

Unfortunately, the quality assurance folks are some of the first to go in a downsizing situation. Which is why my husband is totally out of that field now. He wanted to be employed.

Haunted Mansion doesn't have FastPass anymore.

Those FP machines are actually used at Toy Story Midway Mania now, according to what a TSMM CM told us last summer. I think there's still a "ghost in the machine" though as those machines tended to break down last summer.

They did manage not to mention characters at the restaurant though.

They also have a pic of Chip and Dale supposedly at the 1900 Park Fare breakfast, which must have been quite a while ago.
