Miscomunication betwenn MDE online and phone reservations?

I was receiving errors messages online when trying to book my ADRs at 180+10 so I called to make all my dining reservations.

i wanted an 8pm cali grill ressie for 8 people but they only had 710 available. The firework are at 10pm that night so I wanted a later ressie. I check everyday for a later time.

Today I was able to move it up to 725 BUT oddly enough it did not ask me to cancel my 710 ressie for the same night.

Now I have 2 dinner reservation at cali grill that night.

I thought the system makes you change your ressie? Could this not happen because I called to make my original ressie? has this happened to anyone? I'm nervous about cancelling the earlier one now.

Anything can happen because MDX is so buggy. If you like you can call to cancel the first one.

I once made a reservation on the app and it never showed up. They don't have it. I called because I don't want to be charged for it. They didn't have it. Hopefully I won't be charged for it.
