Miscellaneous Questions for those who R Experienced...

I am planning a secret trip to WDW (even keeping it from my husband). I have a few questions...
1. We are using magical express to/from airport- do they have car seats (we are traveling with a 16 mo old).
2. I have already booked rooms at CSR- should I ask now for a certain room? We are traveling last week in August- should I wait?
3. Any good places to get autograph books ahead of time? I plan on purchasing all the "little things" that add up ahead of time... like glow-in-the-dark necklaces, water bottle fans, autograph books, etc.
4. I've read some posts where people ship boxes ahead of time- I want to do that- but how do you mail the stuff back home? Can you ship directly from the hotel back to home?
5. If using garden grocer (for diapers, water bottles, wipes, snacks, breakfast foods) do I have to be at the room for the delivery- do they give you times to be in your room? Has anyone used it- how does it work?

1. We've never used magical express, so I'm not sure. But I'd guess, no. You'd have to supply your own or sit holding them. The buses to and from the parks don't have car seats.
2. In our experience, even if you ask for a certain room, you don't get it. Unless you need a handicapped room, in which you ask for that when you book. The majority of people call two weeks ahead. We've done a month ahead and once did we get the area we asked for.
3. Not sure about the books....I get everything else at the dollar store.
4. We've shipped things to our room. We did only carry on luggage one time and shipped tripods down. I shipped them UPS and brought a return UPS slip with me. I brought the box to the front desk and they sent it for me. I don't have any experience using anything else.
5. Garden Grocer - Our shipment for Garden Grocer was brought to the front desk at the Beach Club. They left it there, I presume. There was a message on our phone in the room that it had arrived. We called bell services and they brought it to us. Same thing with the package we shipped from home when it arrived.

1-no car seats on DME..no seatbelts to strap them in. Just hold you little one.
2-We requested which building we wanted when we booked out trip--11 months out. There is no guarantee you will get the room (unless it is as OP said--need), but they will note it on you ressie. Call the reservation number or if you used an agent call him/her.
3-Check your Disney stores in the mall (or outlets) or online (disney.com or ebay-type site). I found some GREAT deals on disney.com before our trip. Also, we didn't use books for autographs. The characters signed photo mats...we'll add a fav pic for each child's frame and is will be something to display. Others have used hats, tote bags, t-shirts, and pillow cases too!
