Miracles vs. Believe

Hi, we will be heading to Sea World Christmas week. As I know the crowds will be large, I am trying to determine the "must see" shows and how to plan them out. Can anyone tell me the difference between Miracles and Believe? Should we plan to see both or are they similar enough that we can see Miracles and not miss out too much on Believe? Also, how about the Clyde and Seamore show - if we see the regular show would it be repetitive to see the Clyde and Seamore Christmas show too? If you were to pick one is the Christmas show the better choice?

Thanks in advance!

If you get there at park opening, you should be able to see both. The difference is that one is Christmas themed, and the other is not. They are both similar in that they have music, and whale stunts, but Miracles is more along the lines of the Candlelight processional. Clyde and Seamore are both flat out funny, and again, the difference is the christmas theme and story.
Here's a review of both, with pictures.

you will really enjoy believe!.

are you going for one of those eating with shamu experiences?. the food's not all that great, but it's worth it just for the extra stunts.

clyde and seamore are good too, though i had to see them a few times before i really liked it.

oh and while you're there... make sure you ride wild artic and atlantis for me!. 2 of my fave rides.

We are also planning to go there during Christmas week for 1 1/2 days. I heard the shows are packed and you should get seats early. How soon should we sit? Would 45 min. early be enough to get Ok seats. we would probably be doing morning or lunchtime shows only.
OP- I haven't seen Miracles, only Believe. Shamu rocks, the nightime show, was much better than the day one. Don't know if this is true with the Christmas show.

Getting there a 1/2 hour before any show is fine and will give you plenty of time. Both Believe (normal Orca show with some extras Miracles doesn't have) and Miracles (special Christmas themed show) are great. If you have time, do both. If not, either would be fine. When we were there last year on Christmas (Dec. 25th), they had the Believe show during the day and one Miracles show just before closing. If that's the schedule, I'd suggest getting to a Believe show during the day, and then deciding whether you want to take the time to do another one about an hour before Miracles would start giving you time to get to the Staduim if you want. If you're like our family you just can't get enough of Shamu and will want to do both. An even better bet, if you can fit is in, is to go to Sea World on two different days (you're second day within seven days of your first visit is free if you visit the customer service desk for tickets). With this you could do Believe one day and Miracles the other.

I like seeing the two versions. Miracles has a small choir and a soloist which makes the big difference with this show. I think the stunts are slightly better and there are more of them in the Miracles show.
