Just back from seeing this movie. It was wonderful! I saw the 'real' thing back in 1980, but this was just as exciting. I will buy it as soon as I can.

Herc!!!! We may have to pull your Minnesota citizenship - You are not allowed to live in the State of Hockey and not love the game! lol!
I am obsessed with everything about this movie. I loved it.
I can't wait for it to come out on DVD as well because I'm sure there will be tons of bonus footage and behind the scenes interviews with the real hockey players and Herb Brooks.
I took ten 11 year old boys to see last Sunday. Every one of them had tears in their eyes at the end. Of course 7 of them are hockey players themselves so it really had special meaning for them.
I had a take it or leave it attitude going in, since I see more than enough hockey games every week (DS plays and DH coaches). I have to say though, I absolutely LOVED it! It was so much more than just watching hockey games. Kurt Russel did a fabulous job. I just wished that Herb Brooks could have lived to see the finished result. I think he would have been proud.
Just went last night, the movies was wonderful. I remember so well when it actually happened. In fact I still have my orginal T-shirt from 1980 that says "I Believe In Miracles". I've keep it all these years.
