That got your attention, didn't it? lol

I am, of course, referring to the nails.

I had mine done the other day and I really like them. Has anyone else had theirs done? I would love to get some Disney ones for our trip next year!

LOL, I knew what you were on about. I've never had them done before, but I've got an appointment for next Friday to have a flowery design put on my toe nails before I go away :yay:

I'll post a photo if I have time :)

The flowery ones are lovely. I had the silver. Have you seen the Christmas designs??

I was going to get them on my toes last week-
but i wasn't sure how long they last for, so i didnt get them done as i didnt want them looking grown out while i was on holiday!

I had them done on my toe nails before our last Florida trip but they didn't last very long  They did look good for a few days though :thumbsup2

oh no think i'll get mine done when we get back, see how they turn out!

I was told that they last for a few weeks. I had mine done on Monday 22nd, so I'll update you when they fall off or grow out - whichever comes first!

I used to have these done all the time and each set would last about 3-4 weeks. The only time I had problems was when I wore a pair of ballet style pumps and the design inside the shoe caught my nail and pulled back the Minx.

However, Please make sure you have them removed professionally or use a hair dryer to heat them up before removal or they will mess up your nails.

I'll be honest when it came to winter and I stopped having them done I wasn't pleased with my actual toe nails and it took months for them to be right again - this was also the case with my friends as we used to have Nail party nights and all get them done together.

We have all said we wouldn't have them done again but that's just us - we did love them at the time!

Some of the girls in work also have them done and although they loved them at the time, some of them, not all, said it ruined their nails and they wouldnt have it done again. They do look pretty though:goodvibes

Oh no! Dreading what my nails will be like now :(

Oh no! I was planning to have these done (for the first time) for my holiday in October, now I'm not so sure! I don't even normally bother but I feel like making the effort and I heard these last 3-4 weeks which is plenty of time. Just don't want to do my own then have to take off and re-paint a few days later as it takes me a lifetime to do and still ends up looking crap!

Back to the drawing board perhaps....

I can really recommend Shellac. It goes on like a nail polish, but is cured under UV light (2 minutes after every coat). I cannot wear nail polish as it chips off straight away, but this stuff stays put. I comes in all kind of colours and can be enhanced with nail art or done as a French Manicure. They say that it lasts at least 2 weeks, but I normally get 3 weeks out of it. There is no damage to my nails and it even seems to make them stronger.

Thanks, Corinna. I might give that a try! My biggest problem is narrowing down what salon to use in Glasgow! LOL It's been years since I had my nails done and unfortunately the place I had them done before is no longer in business! It's a minefield picking one!

I've had Shellac and gels on my finger nails and had no problems so I would 2nd this idea. :thumbsup2

I've just had mine done (for the first time), and I'm thrilled with them :)
