It's just something you'll have to try for yourself. I know a lot of people describe it as tasting like mouthwash, but I don't think that's completely accurate. Like a few others have said, it's like mixing Sprite with Creme De Menthe with Lime. It may smell similar to Scope, but it taste totally different; like it's own unique flavor. Just give it a whirl and see what you think. You'll either love it or you wont. But you've got to try it at least once!

By the sounds of it, that flavor differs from source to source. So where is the best place then to order it? TIA

Dh has had them at the Julep Bar, Cafe Orleans, French Market, and Blue Bayou and never mentioned a difference. So I think the taste is pretty uniform.
