Has anyone used this free site or know of it? Once inputting your financial information Mint.com will make suggestions on ways to budget.

I don't know if I feel comfortable releasing all this information. My son feels I need to get with the times but I feel I am just being cautious.

Any input on this?

I would read on their website about their security policies and make sure you are comfortable with it. I love using it! It really is easy and shows where your money is going. It took a little bit of time for me to set up the budget, but now that is done, I'm very happy.

You cannot transfer money using mint.com, everything is read-only.

I do love it, but I would use it more/love it more if the bank I use for checking/savings was supported by them. The only thing mint.com shows for me is credit card accounts so their budgeting isn't all that accurate for me.

I, my neighbor, and my brother (who is in finance) use it. It's scarey to me (seeing what is going where) so I haven't committed 100% to it. lol

I have an account and it is great... BUT they do not have one of our credit unions linked for checking, which happens to be where most of our money resides, so we always have a negative balance. I stopped using it until and unless they add that credit union. Make sure you can really add all of your stuff. (Ours is a smaller CU that is regional or only in our state - bigger banks and CUs should be no problem - our other CU is on there just fine.)

They appear legitimate. Intuit, which is the owner, is also TurboTax and QuickBooks and Quicken, so this is just an extention of their related businesses.
