My pet peeve of the day is a long one!
My neighbor asked to borrow my lawn mower (not a pet peeve). I hadn't finished mowing my backyard yet ... I had to clean up after the dog first (still not a pet peeve). I said, "Sure, anytime! You don't even have to ask! Oh! And I know you, you'll cut my backyard, but please don't, I can do it myself! Honestly! It will just take me like 20 minutes and I WANT to do it, I have to clean the yard.

I'm gonna take a break, you use the lawn mower and when you're finished, I'll get us both Diet Pepsis and we'll have a break together." "Okay!" he says and off he goes (still not a pet peeve).
So ... I look out in the backyard and he's cutting my grass (starting of the pet peeve)! Not only is he cutting my grass and running over what should have been cleaned up first, but when he sees what should have been cleaned up first, he goes around it (part of the pet peeve)!

So now my lawn mower has to be extra cleaned

and my lawn looks like a checker board or something with patches of grass sticking up all over the place!

Here comes the pet peeve:
If someone nicely asks someone else not to do something or to do something, and the other person agrees, then why the heck don't people do what they agreed to do or not do? *Maggie stomping feet here* *sigh*
He made it so much harder on me now.

Pet peeves over for the day.
