Minor Annoyance

Warning - rant!

I am *slightly* annoyed at the moment.

Without going into details, I've been ill to the point of incapacitation for several years, propped up using various medications and treatments. Even DISing can be a bit of a trial (!!!)

It's become rather obvious that I'm not responsive to normal medications for a number of reasons and as such have been put onto ancient and unusual treatments - some of which aren't even available in the USA.

I've just been put onto a new medication and I can't stop shivering! It's annoying me no end because I can't even sleep - it's past midnight here and that's not cool I'm also suffering muscle spasms and they're just as irksome!

So its time to check off the DIS, at least for tonight. Fingers crossed this damned thing passes!

Hope those side effects go away Rich. Are they listed as common? Maybe talk to the doctor and see if there is a counter for that side effect? I dunno, but that would annoy me too. I have had nights where my joints just seemed to ache and I wanted to crawl out of my skin.

Hope you feel better soon. I have a hard time with medication - some make me very drowsy and some make me have stomach problems. Prayers and that the shivering stops and you get a good nights rest.

Geez.... so sorry. Without sounding "momish" is this supposed to be a side effect or do you need to call your doctor to be sure everything is ok?

My MIL is on Zyprexa.
I don't know if you tried it but she is the best she has ever been in her whole life!!!!!

She went through a rough patch even with the Zyprexa until her dosage was corrected a couple of times.
