This is the first time I've heard of this - I know in years past everyone always hated the food at Hollywood & Vine. Has it gotten better? How about the character interactions at this event? We would be going in November (2019) if that makes a difference.

Thanks!!!!

We love the seasonal dine. The food gets bad reviews, but my family enjoyed it. The character interaction is great and the costumes are adorable.

My family just visited there this past Monday as part of the Fantasmic Dining Package and we have to say we loved it! It was the Halloween Dine right now so the characters were in their Halloween costumes. My family loved the food, especially the tater tots and the corn dog nuggets from the children's location was something my family could not pass up lol. My dad was also happy that they had chocolate sauce for his ice cream. Overall we were very happy with the food.

We were also very happy with the character interactions and had the opportunity for them to come around more than once. I'm not sure if it's a normal thing with character meals or if we were just lucky, we've never done any before this trip, but we had great luck with them coming around fairly quickly after we came. They also abided by any request we had of them regarding pictures, like how if we wanted to have different people in a group.

We go every trip. The food is decent. The character interaction is the best!

I went a couple of weeks ago. I thought the food was decent and the character experience was great. We were there for the Fantasmic dining package more than anything. (Nobody wanted Mama Melrose or HBD.)

It's a solid character meal, lots of selection for everyone on the buffet, and a good solid 70-90 minutes of AC.

I have scheduled it for December, and I am almost embarrassed to admit that it is the one I am most looking forward to. My family may need to make a cut or two from the vast array of ADR's that we have, and I have offered H&V if need be, but after seeing the fuss a 62 YO lady has made about meeting the characters in their Holiday finery, they would give up Gary Sinese first! LOL!!!

We were there in June. Characters came around quickly and were patient with our party of 10, taking all sorts of pictures. The food was good buffet food. Server was good, just very busy. We always go there for the F! dinner package. Sometimes the food is better than others, but we've never left hungry!

The food selection isn't our favorite here, but we all (6) always leave with a full belly so we are happy.

Also, a couple years ago we went with another family. They (at the time) 3 year old was a super picky eater and found nothing to eat at the buffet. I knew they were connected to the 50's kitchen so I asked if they could make her some french fries. They probably thought it was a crazy request because of all the food on the buffet, but gladly obliged and brought out the biggest plate of fries.

We enjoy it, and I really liked the Holiday one! The way I see it, there aren't a ton of kids meal options in HS besides chicken nuggets and burgers with fries... my boys are good eaters so this gives them a lot more options, plus they LOVE that they can make their own little sundae with sprinkles at the end. It gives us a nice, air-conditioned break in the day, there's something for everyone, characters and reserved seating for Fantasmic! are bonuses. Tip: I like to book the first slot for dinner, that way the buffet is fresh and there's no waiting past our ADR time.

Single worst meal I’ve ever had at Disney in nearly 100 trips. Very expensive and a true rip off. The characters in their Christmas garb are cute, but the horrible food and sky high prices cannot be redeemed by characters.

We were there last week & we loved it. The food was good & my 8 year old daughter loved seeing the characters in costume. The restaurant was clean, wasn't loud, and all the food was pretty good. I was a little nervous about the food b/c of the reviews, but I would book it again in a heartbeat.

We eat there almost every trip. We like the food and there are a lot of options. Of course, we are not picky and I am not a good cook, so maybe not the best judge.
