There are 8 people in my party. I'm thinking of creating an MDE account for my dad just for this ressie..lol. although he is listed in my conflicting ressie..but he isn't linked to me

If you remove him from the conflicting ADR you should have no problem.

I can't decide if I want to wake up early, or just take my chances LOL. My husband is gone, so I don't have to hear the alarm at 5:30 am, it would figure that I would now need to wake up early for this.

Just got off the phone with two different cms( my phone died) and they both confirmed booking online beigins tomorrow at 6 am online or phone at 7 and it will be one dining credit fantasmic or not.

ETA. I have. BoG at 5:15. I'm going to reserve Minnie at 4:00 or 6:30ish *then* release BoG and try to grab Minnie for 5:15. That way I have something!

That is a good idea..my ressie is for 5:15 at 50s prime time..I'll try for a later time...how far apart does it have to be to not be conflicting?

So I called Disney again this morning and told the CM that I would like to book Minnies Holiday and Dine at HS. She told me I must be mistaken and I was thinking of the restaurant Hollywood and Vine! With all my restraint I nicely informed her that there was such a thing and several CMs I had spoken to had confirmed this.... Que silence... then she put me on hold and suddenly came back with all the info about it being released tomorrow etc. and that it costed $50 per adult (same with Fantasmic acording to her)!!!!

Hi, I've been watching and thinking about booking this just because I'm a sucker for special limited events and Christmas events, so this fits the bill. I was assuming all of the characters would be in Christmas themed clothing of some type, is that not the case? Or will Goofy be Santa and the rest be be in holiday clothes? We've eaten at H&V for a regular Fantasmic meal and the Star Wars Meal and really don't care for the atmosphere or food that much, so I would just be doing this for the entire Christmas experience. If the only Christmas things is Santa Goofy, and the rest are the regular characters, maybe I should pass. We have CM, Ohana, GG, and the CP for regular character meals. Does anyone know if they will all be dressed up or just goofy?

I am also in the same boat of having another ADR planned for that time period, and don't want to cancel it until this is booked. I did have the experience today of the web site not letting me cancel and replace a meal that I wanted to change until I tried 3 or 4 times, which is frustrating. Well, thanks for your help and I am waiting t see if I can book this tomorrow morning. It's been fun keeping up with this thread for the past week or so when I first stubbled onto it!

If I put fantasmic dinner package in do we think H and V dinner will come up as an option or should I put minnies holiday and dine in the search bar? And if it comes up under that will it have the option for it to be a F! package?

Sounds like it will be listed as it's own event. So there should be 2 options, 1 with F! and 1 without.

I figure, that way it'll come up no matter WHAT they decide to name the darn thing.

Removing him won't change the number of guests the ADR is for, it will just unlink his name from the reservation. This way you can book a separate reservation in his name and it won't be considered "conflicting." But I think only he can remove himself, you can't do it for him. (So set up an MDX account for him, then go to the list of reservations, find the conflicting ADR and there should be a link that says "remove me from this reservation.")

I've been doing that too..but I do go down and click on Hollywood and Vine to see if dinner has been added

I just checked and therr are no names in the ressie on the app just mine. It was done over the phone. In fact it was a mess because we have a child under 3 and it wouldn't let her edit it without losing the ressie or something. I'll try using my mde..my sister is going to be trying too..we will probably fight each other for same one lol

Yeah that is a bit scary. But too many people are saying it will be tomorrow. If it's not we will all be devastated
