Be watching for BOG breakfasts too....Monday a TON of dinner reservations opened and were promptly snapped up. I got one of those too

I booked a Hollywood and Vine fantasmic lunch this morning. A bunch opened up. In my conformation email after the description of the reservation it says "Special". Which it doesn't on my Mama Melrose Fantasmic reservation. I called to find out about that and just got off the phone with the agent. She told me that the Minnie's Holiday at Hollywood & Vine is only for dinner and they haven't opened booking yet. But, she did say to keep checking.

How were the SWW meals released? Was there a heads-up as to day/time booking would be available, or did they just show up?

The "keep checking" is going to kill my productivity today.

I feel like they just showed up. I do recall a DBP announcement as well.

The Dining reservation staff assured me there would be an advance announcement on the Disney Parks Blog about the Candlelight Processional booking and I swear I never saw one until after they were released. If it weren't for the kindness of the people here on DisBoards, I would have missed the boat on that, for sure!

Your experience makes me question that!

Agreed. So SWW meals were probably released before the DPB announcement went out....but that's where I first saw it. Some of the later events that were added were definitely not pre-announced, and without the SWW thread here on the boards, I would have missed out on them for sure! I have a hunch someone here will know before it's officially released Sometimes I wonder if they let info "leak out" slowly like this to avoid the system crashes that always accompany free dining announcements, etc?

Oh, there will be an announcement. But probably like CP, where it's hours after the ressies have opened, and it will say "now booking"

When checking Hollywood and Vine, it allows me to search dinner times through my iphone, but not through my computer.

The articles online are saying it will start November 7th

Someone in one of my FB groups just reported that a CM told her to call back tomorrow. Supposedly being released in the next few days.

Yeah I was checking through the app, sorry. Apparently it's been searchable that way, I guess I was always checking from a desktop. Sorry! It didn't actually show anything available of course, just "reservations unavailable". But it let me search for a time.

A ton of H&V breakfasts and lunches opened up for November this morning - maybe means they're readying for this one? I'll keep checking!

Yes, Minnie will be dinner only....breakfast and lunch are still Disney Jr (Sophia, Jake, etc)
