Minnie's Breakfast

In December we saw Fairy Godmother, Suzy, Perla, Chip, Dale, Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. Oh, and Minnie. :)

It seemed very disorganized, and some characters initially skipped us, but it was definitely worth it.

When we were there in June we saw....

Minnie
Hook
Fairy Godmother
Max
Rafiki
Pooh
Tigger
Eeyore
Chip
Dale

Last September we saw: Minnie, Chip & Dale, Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Captain Hook, and Fairy Godmother. I thought the character interaction was great and most stopped by several times.

I did this breakfast last Thursday (8/7) at around 9am. I was quite surprised at the lack of character interaction. It was no different than meeting characters at Town Square. Most of the characters from other posts were there. They just didn't walk around to the tables.

Additionally, the restaurant was half empty on a pretty busy day. I literally walked right in. The food? I was not impressed at all. The selection (for a buffet) was extremely limited. And nothing tasted very good.

I learned my lesson here. Plaza Inn is much better for dinner. But for breakfast, I was expecting it to be like Crystal Palace at MK. This was a waste of time and money.

DH and I can't decide if we should do this as our last day. We can get a breakfast time before the park opens. Our last day is only 10-8. SO it does appeal to me to be IN the park and ready to go for the day.

Do the Characters not go around to all the tables?

Last year when we went to WDW and we did Crystal Palace the Characters were filthy and we thought the whole experience was just subpar. We enjoyed it when we were there 10 years ago when DS was little. He was 11 when we went back. Maybe some of the magic was gone because he was older. When planning this Minnie breakfast I had totally forgotten about that. Hmm....

We have a 9 year old girl joining us this trip and I would enjoy taking her if it's fun for her. We are planning to do Ariel's for lunch a couple days before, as that's her favorite.

This breakfast will be last on our trip. Should we just skip it?

Did your kids eat well?

We always do a lot of character meals, whether we go to WDW or DLR. We enjoyed Minnie's a lot, and I recommend you go, but I felt they were not nearly as organized as the character meals at WDW. The characters do go around to the tables, but seemed to miss some tables. Just keep an eye out, and if you miss someone, don't be afraid to find one of the character handlers and let them. They were very responsive when we asked.
