Minnie's Breakfast ... Anyone do standby?

If you didn't read my other thread, I'm trying to psych myself up for a character meal. I'm thinking about winging it and just going standby. Has anyone done this for Minnie's? How long did you have to wait?

We had a priority seating for 10:30, but showed up at 9:30 and it was no wait, no problem. I'd probably try to make a priority seating, even if it wasn't for your first choice time. When I checked in they sounded like it happens all the time. Good Luck!

Have you tried making a call to see if you can still make a PS?

I haven't called yet b/c I'm trying to decide which day to go...Monday (first full day in the parks), Tuesday, or Wednesday (our last day and will leave around noon.)

FYI I was able to make a PS for M&F's on a Friday for the following Tuesday. Call, the most they will say is there is no availability.

It may help to make a ps. It'll be less stressful & you can always cancel w/no fee (last I went). You can show up early like HeatherAnn23 & they'll seat you. If you end up waiting, it'll just add to your distaste.

If you don't know which day to make it, why not try your first day so that you already have a bunch of autographs & photos. That way you won't have waste your time in line for those later in your stay. Well... that is of course saying that your children wouldn't like to their favorites everyday.

Also, if you don't want to feel trapped to a specific day. You could make a ps for everyday & cancel as soon as you know which day you want.

I hope your time their exceeds your expectations. I always make it a point to eat there when I go, ever since I read a post from Bumbershoot about it & a good time to go. I don't even have kiddies of my own.
