I knew Lorie through a different board first and through here, and then on Facebook and she and her husband Glenn were great people, caring, fun, loving and their deaths are heavy on my heart.

I had been lucky enough to meet her in person and not just online and now to know that I won't get to see her again, hear her laugh, listen or see her excitement for an upcoming Disney trip is so hard.

My Prayers and Pixie Dust to Their family, friends and the rest of Joplin MO as they cope, and deal with the daunting tasks that are ahead of them. To those on the DIS that this loss affects my prayers and pixie dust to you as well and hugs all around.

RIP Lorie and Glenn you will be sorely missed.

I just learned of this and even tho I didn't talk on here much..when I did..she would make me laugh!!

I couldn't imagine what kind of pain and suffering everyone is going thru down in Joplin. I'm so sorry for the loss of two very special people.. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims of this tornado....

It's sad and awful enough to realize that there are people going through this in the midwest. But when it's someone you know, maybe not in person but through a community such as this...well, it just hurts even more. So horribly sad.

Wow, what completely awful news. I saw the stories about the tornado this morning, and had no idea they would hit "home" like this.

It also appears she may have just returned from a trip to AKV the day before?
