Minnie Vans are Back

An auto tip is frequently added for LIMO service. I don't think you have to tip if a 20% tip has been added to the bill.
Im talking about real limos, not vsns, towncars etc. I dont think.auto or included tips are as common

Some companies add an auto tip, others don’t. Some companies also sell the fare as “tip included”.

That changed not long after the service was rolled out.

yes as I said they changed it from being able to be tipped in the Lyft app like a regular Lyft driver to not being able to be tipped in the app. I never heard anything about them going back to it being tipped. For Disney, the only CMs that are allowed to take tips are housekeeping, restaurant servers and bartenders, and luggage assignats

I watched a YouTube video and the rider claimed that he could pay for the ride with Disney Gift cards. Does anyone know if this is a new form of payment for the Minnie Vans? Previously, you could only use a credit or debit card in the Lyft app. Per the planDisney site - answer from 2018: Since Minnie Van service operates on the Lyft app, you cannot use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your ride. You link a credit or debit card through the app to use for payment. I think you will find it an easy, convenient way to travel while at Walt Disney World Resort.

It would be great to purchase discounted gift cards to use for payment.

I have seen Uber gift cards at Target and at my local grocery store, but I have never seen Lyft gift cards anywhere. (Maybe they exist and I just haven't noticed them here.) I think you can get Lyft e-gift cards, but I don't know about discounts.

Minnie Van pricing is consistently between Lux Black and Lux Black XL prices.



Disney is not competing against casual drivers using a personal vehicle.

Just rode a Minnie Van from Hollywood Studios to SSR. Pickup point was I think #30, right next to the SSR stop. Base fare was $32. The driver said they were ramping up to 75% capacity.

Same here with pricing. I went to HS on the 26th from All-Star Music. $32.00 through Lyft. I was able to tip. Convenient but pricy.

Pre-COVID, Minnie Vans dropped off at the Magic Kingdom. They had a slot with the resort buses. I'm not there now, so I can't say what is happening currently.

They drop off at the closest MK bus stop.
