Minnie Mouse now captain of all DCL ships

And even if Minnie had completely replaced Mickey as Captain... There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Absolutely not. I was just agreeing that the Fast Company author may have read a little more into the news release than what was actually there.

So, I'm wondering what the pictures are going to be like for formal nights on the ships. 18 months ago, we had pictures with Captain Mickey in his dress white uniform and Minnie in a ballgown. Will both of them be in a Captain uniform? Will they alternate cruises where one cruise has Mickey in uniform and Minnie in a gown, and the next cruise has Mickey in a tux and Minnie is uniform? I'd prefer to not explain to my kids why there are two characters both being presented as the ship's captain.

I think she looks terrible in that photo. She looks like Mickey with eyelashes!!

You can't be a captain in a skirt?

You can’t be a captain in pants? Oh, wait....you can!

Do a Google image search for Kate McCue (first female American captain of a mega-cruise ship) and note how many times she is wearing pants vs. a skirt.

If it makes you feel any better, it appears that Capt. Minnie does retain the option to switch things up if she wants:

Because a ship has only one captain. There may be situations where multiple captains rotate being in command, but there is only one commanding officer at a given time. I'm fine with DCL having Minnie rotate with Mickey; I just don't want two captains at once.
