Good afternoon team!

Did my first 6 mile LR this morning in the Florida sunshine, managed 62:39! Not bad for being tired.

I also bought myself a new running top at Target yesterday.......in lime green! So you'll be able to find me wandering around. Look for the girl in a sleeveless lime green top with a blue Nike sweatband on her head, an iPod strapped on her left arm, and a look of fear in her eyes

DH and I renewed our AP's this morning and popped in to Epcot to check out some of the Flower and Garden show. I have to say, it is spectacular (as always) and it will be such a treat to finish running through the beautifully decorated pavillions of the World Showcase. Some amazing stuff!

Mom & I are planning on being at EoS. DH will start his chemo/radiation the Monday before I leave but from what the doc says, he will be fine that first week or 2. The side effects are cumulative. So, assuming he is right we will be there! And you guys were right, I am glad I am going. The more into this we go, the longer I know the next 8-10 weeks are going to be so this should be good for me.

OT, but new issue with DH. We have just found out he has extremely high blood sugar. Now if anyone in this family should have that issue, it should be me. I should be made of sugar. We were totally caught off guard by it. So he is now on meds for that & we are going to yet another Dr. to help get that issue under control. When it rains, it pours The next 2 weeks are going to be one big whirl wind so Minnie will be a welcome change!

It can snow here anyday of the year. Less likely once May hits but in the 4 years I have been here it has snowed in late June and the 4th of July

That's why I can't wait to see all and enjoy the heat. The hotter the better

I wish I could say the hotter the better. It is really kicking my but. My 9 mile LR turned into 8 run and 1 walk and I am sitting here trying to hydrate myself because I am quite sure that I am completely dehydrated right now. The good thing about MINNIE is that it will be so early in morning. My first mistake today was going out at 5:30 when not only was the sun beating right on me, the heat of the day (the clock in Ellenton read 90 degrees again today) was just coming off full force. Oh well. At lest I made it home!!

I will be at EOS with DD14, wild thing and DMom. I still have my WISH name tag from Jan and I have Judy's fabulous sign. I also still have some large and child size WISH bracelets that I can bring if anyone still needs one.

Sunday 6:40 pm -- dinner at Chef Mickey's (1)
Sunday 8:00 pm -- WISHes cruise (departs from the Contemporary boat dock) (1)

Snow is rare after April and it goes away quickly(like next day). Old timers always mentioned that it has snowed in Aug.

Tahoe is beautiful except in the winter. My DW and I are summer people so that's why we will be livining at WDW from Dec 1-Apr 1 in 9 years

look forward to meeting all at JR Sunday night. Anyone heading to Mexico for Cinco de Mayo

I am getting so excited!!! I cannot believe it is almost here. just 11 more days and I will be soaking up the FL sun(I hope... )

I did not do any training this weekend, but I plan on going out every day this week as long as there is no rain. I figured if I can get in a mile or two a day, then I should be good. And then I have the WalkAmerica on Sunday the 29th, so that will be the big test to make sure I can make it.

I believe they DO check picture ID when you turn in your waiver. I think that was the way they did it. I have a similar situation in that my SIL will not be coming, but I have someone else who could take her place. Then I remembered about the picture ID. I could be wrong.. Anne

She is only 11 so I don't think they will check her ID. I think that I am just going to let her run as my DN. I mean after all she will get the "bling" and that is all that matters right??? (well at least to me anyways... )
