Hi, it's my DD's 4th birthday on 1st October and I'm thinking of getting her a Minnie Mouse dress. I've seen a nice one on eBay from DLP. I was also thinking of having a little tea party at home for her (about 6 children) and theming it around Minnie. This is what I've come up with so far:

Red and white spotty cup-cake cases
Red and white balloons
Pin the bow on Minnie (rather than the tail on the donkey)
Pass the parcel with Disney prizes

Any other ideas?::MinnieMo

I'm having my family around for some tea this week before we go on holiday and I bought a Minnie Mouse tablecloth, plates and napkins from Tesco last week :)

It sounds like your DD is going to have a lovely party ::yes::

Will check out Tesco! :goodvibes

How about Minnie 'Mouse headband for them all to wear?? Im sure ive seen them cheap in Asda:confused3

Sainsburys had loads of Minnie mouse themed stuff yesterday including bubbles and masks! I only notuiced them because my niece is also having a Minnie mouse theme party and my sil was struggling to find the plates.

Also on ebay they sell the cupcake toppers - really really cute!
Oh and the pound shop have Minnie Mouse shaped mini muffin pans which turn out great.

Thanks Louise!
So I need to check out Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury and the pound shops! I have been looking at ready-to-roll red icing too. Who am I throwing this party for again?

If you were playing musical chairs / pass the parcel / musical statues - you could use songs from mickey mouse clubhouse, like the hot dog song!

Was outbid on the Ebay dress :( Bidding on another now!

I have a Disney's Greatest Songs CD, so that will be used for Musical Statues.:thumbsup2

Just got a Disney Store Minnie dress for £1 and a pair of red glitter Next shoes for 99p. Bargain!:)

Thats a great bargain Joolz.

When we had a Princess party we played Musical Castles - a version of musical chairs without the chairs.
We printed pictures of Castles on A4 sheets of paper and set them out on the floor for them to stand on and them remove one at a time as you do the chairs. They do get creased so only last for one game (unless you laminate them) but its quick and easy to prepare.
You could use pictures of Minnie or different pictures of characters or even things relating to Minnie eg Cheese/ Spots/Bow etc

Have you got a photo of your cake? I was thinking of red fondant and white spots with a ribbon tied around it. Trying to find a cheap Minnie Mouse figure to plonk on top. Did you make a fondant bow for your cake?
