Minnie & Friends on a MM

Has anyone here done the Minnie & Friends character breakfast on a MM day? I have been thinking of either adding/substituting another character meal into my plans and I loved the variety of the characters I've seen there before. I would want to do this on a Sunday and the earliest time I can get is 8:10 -- mind you the park opens at 9 and MM begins at 8. Can you still do that early time for Minnie & Friends without having MM? Just want to clarify on this

If you are going to do it on a MM day, make your reservation for after the MM hour. So if the park opens at 9, do MM at 8 then go to the breakfast at 9. Don't waste your MM eating!

As for your question... You can do a early breakfast without doing a MM. If you only have 1 MM make sure you use it first, then do the breakfast a later day so you don't waste you MM eating.

I understand doing that. It's not what I asked. I asked if you can eat at Minnie & Friends on a MM at 8:10 without having MM on your PH. As in: I was planning on doing MM on Saturday, but wanted to do the character meal on Sunday but would prefer to eat at 8:10 and not 9 if possible.

I'm just too fast, lol!

So as long as I use my MM before the day I set for the meal I should be OK, even though it is technically a MM day. Although, hopefully I'm staying onsite if everything works out perfectly at which point it would be a non-issue (other than wasting a 3rd MM ).

Last trip we did Minnie's pre-opening on an MM day with APs. They check you in separately, and run your tickets there, so it must have a way to override not having the MM.

They have a seprate line for the early reservations at Minnie's and you don't need to have a MM. They do the same thing at Arials. Just tell a CM that you have reservations and they will let you in. In fact I had a 10:05 PS at Minnie's on a MM and they let us in at 8:30

I love how Disney lets you make PS reservations even if you don't have a MM! We usually take 2 day trips, and stay off site, so no MM for us. BUT, on our last summer trip we did M&F at 7 on a MM day, and were done by 8, the time we were allowed to enter the park anyway. We had a delicious early breakfast without crowds and with TONS of character interaction, and did not have to wait in any lines to get in the park! I love being able to eat a character meal without wasting any park time.

You sure can! And if you do the first seating, the place will be empty. You can probably get out of there and onto a ride or two before the park officially opens!

Thanks so much for the replies! It definitely makes my day to know that this will work out. One thing that I love about eating breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen is that I can get in early enough without it eating up valuable ride time so being able to get into Minnie & Friends even earlier (I have always done the first seating, 20 minutes before the park opens) but never on a MM day so I wasn't 100% sure.

We have done this 3 times for the first PS seating possible. I think it was at 8:10. They have a separate line for those with PS for Minnie and Friends. They check you in and then walk you over to the restaurant to pay and enter. Don't think you can enter and then be a no show, at least not that early.
It was great to be one of the first there in a nearly empty restaurant with lots of characters and we did finish early enough to get a couple rides before the park opened to everyone.
