I am hoping to find some current information before having to call Disney, and knew someone here would probably know! :) What is the current pricing for the Minnie character breakfast? I can't seem to find it anywhere! I am hoping to take my son for his 4th birthday in a few months and am debating on seating times. Is earlier better for character interaction or will we still get plenty of that eating later in the morning? I'm absolutely more focused on the experience than the food. :) The only other character meal we've ever done was the Celebration Round-Up barbecue when it first opened and Woody and Jessie were there. Any other tips would be great too! Thanks guys!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Kids are cheaper but I can't remember exactly how much. We were there last week and our bill was $70 something for 2 adults and 2 kids.

You're going to love it!

Awesome! Thank you!! I just read your post in the character meals thread about it and it sounds wonderful! I am really excited to be able to give him a special experience for his birthday. :goodvibes

Remember that the character meal prices change according to season (high, medium, low).

The best thing to do is call Disney Dining about a week prior to your visit....one..... to confirm all your ressies & two....you can ask what the current character meal prices are. I do this every trip, as the prices do fluctuate.

Minnie's will be a great meal for a 4 yr old!! Lots of characters that little ones recognize. We've seen: Minnie, Chip, Dale, Max, Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Peter Pan, Hook, Fairy Godmother, Rafiki, Pluto, Alice, and a few others.

Make sure when you make your ressie to let them know you're celebrating a birthday & then again when you check in....sometimes those notes get missed.

The omelet bar is pretty good, so would suggest hitting that up for your meal....sometimes the eggs in the hot section are kinda icky!!

Have a great time & happy birthday early!!

As an AP holder you can use this breakfas to get in early. Just book it before the park opens. You can catch some MM time or get pictures of the park befor general guests are let in. At least Main Street that is.

We just came back from breakfast with Minnie and were very disappointed. When the characters did come over , it was for no more than 30 seconds. We saw Captain hook for about 20 sec, chip and dale and tiger for even less. After 45 min, We finally had to go find Minnie outside and ask the character if we could get a photo with her before we leave. Another family also had the same issue, but had waited even longer. They finally just set Minnie out front to take photos. This was the 3rd week in Feb, but we found out Calif had a few schools out of school this week. So needless to say the restaurant was busy... but still... 20 sec?
Ariels Grotto was much better as was Goofy's kitchen. We were bummed about the experiece at Plaza Inn.:guilty:

Ah, you're right! I had completely forgotten about that. Unfortunately his birthday falls during the weeks considered spring break for a lot of people, but hopefully that won't increase the price too drastically. Thanks for the reminder!!

Thank you for the tip on the food and the reservations! We're day trippers, so that's not something I ever really have to think about. I wouldn't have even thought of calling to confirm and check the current price just prior to. Thank you so much! That is going to help a ton!!

That is definitely the biggest pro in the early reservation column for me, and definitely that I want him to have lots of time with the characters if we can get it. I just feel like we'll have better luck with that the earlier we arrive. Thanks!

Aww, that is a huge bummer! Was it earlier or later on in the morning? I am sorry that you both had bad experiences. I know for me, that can totally turn me off to returning for sure. That was pretty much our experience with Celebration Round-Up back when it was a character meal, it was very disappointing. I'm glad you had better luck with the other character dining experiences at least! :goodvibes
