I got reservations for the Minnie breakfast (in the park) on Wed. May 12th at 8:30am... The park opens at 10? so is there someone at the gate letting breakfast people in? If we finish before 10, when the park opens, do they escort you out until 10?

***Right after I posted this - Disney called my home and said that the park hours had changed since I made my reservations and they needed to bump my dining time 1 hour later - to 9:30 - because the park opens at 10am now.
really confused,

When you walk up to the gates at DL, on the far left you will see a sign that says for Minnie's Breakfast and there will be a CM there to escort you to the restaurant. This is what we do as well. I don't think many people really know about it. The first time I was really confused too!

Someone else posted today about making reservations before the park opens at Carnation.

I haven't done this yet at Dl, but hope to in November. But I have in DW many times. It is great to go into the park before it opens for the public. When you check in at the gate, they will look at a list and make sure you have PS and let you in. All the exits from MS will be roped off so you can only get to your restaurant, but it is amazing to see a nearly empty main street.

You're reservation/PS is still before the park opens so you'll still want to look for that gate that the PP mentioned. For reference, here's what it will look like:

Both times that I dined at Minnie's before the park opened they filled guests onto Main Street before opening so we were allowed into the park with them and instructed to wait inside the last shop on the right side of Main Street (I believe it was the China Closet that has a small entry into the Photo store as well) at a red door where a CM would walk us to the restaurant, past everyone waiting at the rope drop.

Thanks everyone for the info... I would rather know these things ahead of time to avoid last minute panic-LOL.

This community is great.
