We went to Minnie and Friends in April and it was great! I will be there in June with 13. We were seated indoors in April (group of 3) and loved it since our reservation was at 10:30 on a hot day. How do we get seated indoors in June? Is that a request we make at the check-in? If we say we don't need to be seated together will that help us be indoors? Or should we make the reservation as separate groups and then see if that gets us indoors?

Maybe being indoors is not as big of a deal as I am making it! Let me know if you have any tips! We are currently booked as 13 for the 10:40 time.

Thanks in advance for the plethora of wonderful advice I always get!

You already did what you can by making an ADR. They tend to keep the indoor seating for those with ADRs. Beyond that just make the request when you check in and tell them you are willing to wait. They'll try to accommodate you if possible, but there's no guarantee.

If you are willing to split up, that will probably help. Every time we've gone with a big group (8-12 people) we've been put outside and had lackluster service/character interaction. It was so much better the times we were inside. But as was mentioned above, being willing to wait will also probably help.

We were seated inside our first visit, but outside our second visit. Both times we had ADRs. The first visit was during EMH though, so they weren't busy yet and outside wasn't being used. We have 10:30 reservations in late June and I plan to ask that we be seated inside as it will be starting to get warm at that time. I'm hoping the crowds will start to thin out since breakfast will be ending soon.

I would think eating outside would be preferred, no? We are going to do our first character breakfast here in July and I figured it would be nice to sit outside and watch people pass by, and have a view of the castle?

We went with 10 people and got seated inside no problem. We did go first thing though.
