Has anyone done the Minnie and Friends breakfast at the Plaza Inn lately? I was wondering what Characters they have there. My son is a HUGE fan of Captian Hook and when I called Disney Dinning they said that is where he will be if he goes. I was just wondering if anyone has seen him lately? We have ressies for Dec 3rd. We aren't telling them because we want it to be a surprise.

We had a party of 7 at the M&F breakfast and were very disappointed.:sad2: Yes, Captain Hook was there, but if you didn't stay at your table every minute, you missed him. My 3 girls stayed at the table waiting for the characters (Hook, Pooh, Tigger, Minnie, Eeyore) and they didn't come around to us until we were all finished and just sitting there. We were at the Plaza Inn for 1.5 hours and finally the characters came our way. And then, Eeyore would not come to our table. He skipped all 3 of the tables in our section of the restaurant.

Beyond the limited character interaction, the buffet setup was awful. There were no bowls, plates or spoons anywhere. We had to ask CMs for these anytime anyone wanted food. They eventually went to plasticware because there were no clean cutlery or dishes. Making your way through the crowds inside the buffet area was not easy, and with 3 girls who could not leave the table, lest the characters skip us, it was not easy to get food for everyone. It was a lot of money for a sub-par experience. We will go back to Storyteller's and Goofy's Kitchen where our experiences have always been good.:thumbsup2

We did Minnie and Friends, and loved it!! We had great character interaction - Hook was there, along with Chip and Dale, Eeyore, Tigger, Piglet, Roo, Minnie, Fairy Godmother (and others, too!). All the characters hit our table at least 3 times, and we got some really nice photos.

When we were there, the buffet was fine - fully stocked with lots of plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. The food was decent, with lots of selection, and the servers were always making the rounds clearing dishes. They were great - they even asked our son if he would like to help hand out balloons to all the kids, so off he went and had a great time!!

:thumbsup2

much is it. i have a brekfest in the park voucher..and it says i can use it there just pay the diffrentce..do you rember how much it is..

The current price including tax is $25.85 for adults and $12.92 for kids 3-9. The Breakfast in the Park vouchers are worth $10.33.

Hook was there the last time we ate there. And the character interaction was great. Any character we missed while we were up, we told the CM and they brought them back around again.

Now, there was a whole other set of issues there with other people, but over all it was good.

Thank-you all that replied. I hope our experience is a good one. I know my son will be just thrilled if he can get his picture taken with Captain Hook. And the price isn't as bad as I thought it was :cool1:
