Minnie 5k Photo Op

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to do the Minnie Meet on Saturday at 4:30pm as we already made advance plans to have dinner at Park Fare with our friends.

However, I certainly would love to be part of a Wish Team photo in our sea of green shirts.

I am only running the 5k and it is my first ever race.

I assume the best time for photos would be *before* the race since people will be crossing the finishing line at separate times and likely meeting family and off in a million different directions.

Fortunately, the sun will be up before the 5k race (unlike the 15k) so I would assume we could do a before-race photo.

Is there anyway that we could plan to congregate somewhere at about 6:30 for a photo before the race?

Maybe all the veterans could fill me in if this is already done.

Oh, Trish!!! First..STOP saying "I'm only running the 5K" !!!!! Did you ever think you'd hear those words coming out of your mouth???!! Go read the weekly training thread where we have been saying that there is no such thing as "only the 5K"!!!

When you show up in the parking lot, start looking for the day glo green WISH shirts. We're kindof hard to miss! There will definitely be pre-race WISH pictures taken.

I am actually quite proud to be doing the 5k. And you are right - I would not have contemplated doing these even a few weeks ago.

My "only" was meant simply to convey the fact that Sat's race will be my only day for a team photo op as I won't be there Sunday for the 15k. Still mighty proud to be doing the 5k.
