I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at the Saturday meet or at the start of the race.

DId anyone get an e-mail from WDW confirming their pin and park tic purchase? Was anyone's right? Mine wasn't, so I replied and attached my receipt. I'm a bit worried now, though. If you did get yours, please check it carefully!

Me Too! I'm so excited, I have butterflies in my stomach already. I'm away on business right now and can't wait to get home so I can get a couple of more practise run/walks in. Wahoo! I leave in a week for a drive to an airport (3 hrs) then a late flight to WDW, don't arrive till 10pm, but at least I'll be there.

This time next week I'll be headed to school to pick up the kids and we'll start our long drive from NC to FL. Hopefully we'll be there in time for EPCOT's extra magic hours -- we've made it on time in years past. Not looking forward to the drive, but VERY excited about the trip and all the special plans for my daughters' (twins) birthday as well as the first 5K with my DS(on)! Yeehaw!!!!

I got an e-mail, but it was to my husband. I ordered 2 for him and 2 for me but no e-mail addressed to me. hmmm. I printed out my receipts of registration and for the Pins to take with me as it instructed just in case. I paid for PINS and registrations for all my family. I hope it's all correct! I will double check this.

Our flight gets in next Friday at 10:35, then ME over to SSR!

getnthinrmade that drive in Jan. from NC and will do it again in Aug.,but for the weekend DH and I will fly out of Charlotte. The kids will all stay home. they aren't happy, but I'm not feeling sorry for them as they went in Jan. and are going back in Aug.

Wendy: sending you pixie dust for a safe ride! I'm flying down friday morning and John will be arriving very late friday night. My daughter (the former swimmer) and her BF will be joining us. Also Nancy, Norm and son Brian will be arriving Friday morning as well. If we don't bump into you ahead of time, we'll definitely spot you at the race start. Nancy, John and I will be wearing our WISH shirts!

I went out for a run early this morning for a change and here is what the weather was like. It was around 6:00 and was in the upper 60's with 90ish% humidity. Even though the numbers sound bad, it was quite comfortable outside. I stayed out for about an hour total and it didn't feel bad. Hopefully it will hold out for another week or so.

Last week I was upset I couldn't do the 15K and am only walking the 5K with my aunt. Now I'm happy I'm not doing it - I wouldn't even be close to ready! I'm doing a 10K tomorrow and I'm not even really ready for that. I am SO excited about getting to WDW - 6 days and I'll be there! I'll be on the lookout for WISH shirts.

2nd...Ummmm, MomtoGKC/Amy, what is the NAME of the 10K and WHERE is it..hmmm? We have this thing called an event calendar. From the event calendar comes the weekly Race Reports/Encouragement/Kudos thread where your team mates get to cheer you on and live vicariously through your race report! So, 'fess up!

And I'll give a brief PSA (aka Lily)..the calendar really helps people to 1) see if others may be doing a same race, and 2) see if someone is doing/has done a race that looks interesting for the future. So, even the "only" 5K's, 10K's are worth posting, my friends!
and now, back to the thread..

By the way, WHO's bringing the name tags to the WISH meet? Liz?
