Minivan Rental October HELP

I am new to this whole car rental thing and am a little overwhelmed. Any help would be appreciated, I am looking for a price for a minivan from October 3rd at 4pm until October 17th at 8am, Is it cheaper to rent from the airport or go offsite and take a shuttle or taxi? What kind of price is reasonable. I have found my best price with thrifty with the orlando magic code. $750 taxes and fees included.

Best advice is to keep trying as things change often, also try some of the codes on Mousesavers. Take me as an exmple, I have been looking for a 10 day minivan rental later in October. I wasn't finding anything under $650 and then one day one of the Dollar codes I tried (and tried many times before) came up with $417 including all fees and tax so I booked it. Tried it again a few days later and it was over $600 again. Sometimes the closer you get to your trip the better your chance of finding a better deal.

If you come accross something that looks like a good deal book it. You can always cancel it if you find something better or if you change your mind. Unlike airlines, there is no penealty for doing this.
