It's a little early for
Alamo's best rates. Historically the rates will drop as you get closer to your trip. Typically I don't reserve my car with Alamo usually until sometime in July. Then I keep checking and rechecking, and booking, and rebooking my car-sometimes until the day before our trip.
Last year's rates never fell as far as they had in the past so we ended up reserving a full size car instead of our typical minivan (usually about $250 for 1-1/2 weeks, or so).
The day before we arrived, I rebooked with Alamo, Full size for $216.66 (complete, out the door) for 11 days. If I remember right the rates for minivans never fell below $400-$500. Good news was when we arrived at MCO there weren't many Full Size vehicles available and many customers were looking for one. We were able to take any car from the National row, for the same price. We grabbed onto a really cool car that had so many bells and whistles. I feel in love with that car. It even had a rearview camera where the picture of what was behind you showed up in the rear view mirror when you went into reverse. Oh, and it had remote start up which was really great on those hot, Sept. days. I would start up the car as soon as I got into range. The air would be on when we got in the car.

It was a Buick Enclave.
I would love to be able to get something like that again this year. I didn't even miss the minivan.
The first ressie I made, on July 16th, was $404, complete for the same 11 days. Final price $216.66. I saved almost $200 by continually checking and rebooking. I used mousesavers and/or Entertainment codes. Still able to use kiosk upon arrival-skipped the line.
