I need a minivan for 9 days, 7/7-7/16, (includes 2 weekends.)
Budget is $299 (not including all surcharges, about $374 - I think).
Dollar is $409.
Avis is $741 (using DISCOUNT CODE).

I have sent away for the DC card. Will I be able to do better than this? (I've never rented a minivan before-OUCH!- LOL)

Did you try Dollar with the KISS or FVG code?

I tied putting your dates into the National System and the price for 7/7 to 7/17 is coming up at 626.01 with the Disncy Club Discount including all taxes. The Dollar rates are high with all the codes. I would stick with the price you got at Budget. 299 for 10 days plus taxes isn't that bad of a price.

I was looking at a minivan for dates close to yours (7/7-7/17) and I found that Dollar (www.dollarcar.com) had the best price of $199 or $209 per week (plus taxes). I canceled my reservation since my in-laws will not be joining us and a smaller car would be OK.

Try one of these codes at Dollar. I don't remember which one worked for me, but one of them might work for you:

FWIW, if you really don't need a minivan, I got an Intermediate from National in the Emerald Aisle (using the Disney Club contract ID and 1 free day coupon) for a mere $214 for the whole 10 days including all taxes. The price before taxes is $159.

Went in today to look for a minivan and at Dollar with the FVG code (for June 21 to Jul 1) got $209.99 for a week and 39.99 for the 4 extra days.

Also for the same time period I got at Dollar an intermediate for $116.00 a week and 24.99 for the extra 4 days. I believe I used the FVG code for this one too.

The extra days you quoted are a per day charge and not for all 4 days. So your Dollar Intermediate comes out to $215 before taxes.

That's right, the $24 is per extra day. I figure with all the taxes included about $276.00 for the intermediate which is a Dodge Stratus for a total of 11 days.

I rented mine from dollar using the FVG code for $209.99 plus taxes and such comes to $262.29 for a week in August. ( i called Dollar to get the exact amount)

Do you have a Disney Club card? It's cutting it a bit close, but if you did National comes in at $225 including all taxes for your dates (164.55 + taxes, etc) for a Pontiac Grand Am or better on the Emerald Aisle. I called for my DC card about a week before we went to Disneyland in April and it came in time for me to use it. The savings on rental car alone will pay for your membership.

The best I could do at Dollar was $423.99 w/ 3 extra days at $39.99. That comes to about $543. I tried this with the FGV, KISS, SPORT, TRIP & DAILY codes.
I'll keep checking but I guess I'll go ahead w/ Budget!
