About half the price of the other majors. Extending it an extra day (to 12/5) doubles the price.

Price was available on the thrifty website - no codes or anything of that nature were used.

What struck me as odd was the fact that adding an extra day (making the reservation last 5 days instead of 4) doubled the price of the entire reservation.

Perhaps tweaking your days a little bit may garner similar results.

It's Wed-Sun. Adding the Monday is what doubles the price on everything.

Funny thing is I can get a minivan from Thrifty for just that Monday for $26 ($26.99, actually), which is the same rate I got on the other days.

Adding the Monday for some reason must be forcing the rental into a week-long rate (which has a daily rate that is twice as high).

Oh well...
