I was just looking at height restrictions for USO and was really disappointed to see that Minion Mayhem was an over 40" ride!! I was hoping this would be a good family ride as DS is only 34".

Then I read that riders under 40" can experience the ride from an "adjacent stationary seat". How does this work? There will be me, DH, DD and DS. If DH and DD ride in the motion simulator and DS and I in the non-moving seats, will we really be adjacent, as indicated, or will we ride in a separate car?

Thanks for any help :)

I get terrible motion sickness, so had to sit in the stationary seats area, LOL!

In the front row, there are about 8 seats right next to the rest of the seats in that row. I experienced everything except the movement. It was a normal crowd day and I was the only one in that area.

Shriek is the same way.

The stationary seats are at the front of the theatre. The vehicles are located throughout the theatre. You won't be sitting beside each other.

I think in my head I have the Shrek show. There were 3 kids up front with me and when they realized the seats didn't move, they scooted over a few seats.

They do have stationary seats down front. Buds, who is 36 inches, was in those and he enjoyed it a lot! :)

I did get a little motion sick on the ride. I wish I had sat in the stationary seat withBuds instead of DH..
