Why don't they run them 3D on even days and 2D on odd days?? then everyone has an opprtunity to experience how they like......

Too much of an unnecessary effort to please everyone. Also, most people will not be aware of it if it happened. Even if you explicitly stated it on the website and put it for each day on a calendar along with the opening times a lot of people still wouldn't get it, or be aware of it. Until people stop asking things like "What time is the 3 o'clock parade?" Something like that would never work, even if they wanted to put the effort to do it.
