or place I can find a list, the list you guys have given me are GREAT :)

I am booked and ready to go to our FIRST trip in March at the wl for 8nights. :cool1:

I am ready to start measuring kids and planning stradegies :) My 7yr old son is not a rider but my 4y/o dd loves anything but doesn't get to do much at our Six flags..

Are there alot of things for small kids ? My kids are tiny (they turn 8 and 5 during our trip, and I also have a 2.5 yr old)

Thanks a ton you guys should be on disney's payroll :rotfl:

Our DN6 rode more rides than any of the adults. The magic number seems to be 42", though there are a few attractions with 46" or 48" and one which has a limit at 52" (to ride alone).

I think the Unofficial Guide lists all the height restrictions.

As I recall, BTMRR and Splash Mountain are both 42" (my 6yo barely made it :thumbsup2 ). Goofy's Barnstormer at Mickey's Toontown Fair (is that what it's called? My brain is not operating at full capacity today :rotfl2: ) is something less than that (maybe 36"?). I think Space Mountain is either 44" or 46" and RNR at MGM is 48". Not sure about EE, since I haven't had the pleasure of that one yet!

The height restrictions at MK are are 40 and 44 for the most part. Splash, BTMR, and Stitch are 40' with Space Mountain at 44' along with the Barnstormer at 35"

Here is a full list by park

They will measure to the head without a hat so make sure you tell your child to stand tall. Sometimes kids naturally shy away from the stick, tell them they want to hit it! If a child looks close to the height a CM will measure the child at the entrance to the line and sometimes again at boarding and they will not make exceptions.

Keep in mind that of all the attractions at the 4 theme parks a small minority of them have height restritions. 90% of the parks can be enjoyed as a family!!

I'm sorry - your screen name is the funniest thing I have seen all day!! :rotfl2:
Even if your little ones aren't tall enough to do ALL of the rides there is so much to see and do I think they will all feel like they get to do plenty. Not everything is a ride - there are shows and character greetings and so forth that they can all participate in.
I can relate to having kids that are small for their age. DS9 was SOOO excited in October when they let him drive the cars at Tomorrowland Speedway. That is the one with the 52" height requirement. But it was a mixed blessing because he wanted to ride them over and over and OVER! I hope you have an absolutely magical trip! And welcome to the DIS! :)

Thank you guys so much I finally grabbed the measuring tape and my almost 8yr old is 50", My almost 5yr old is 42" and my 2yr old is standing tall at 33" no shoes lol *he refused to put on shoes just to get measured*

Looks like I am pretty safe and luckily both my mom and my Dh are there to help if needed (read help as :sit out while I ride :cool1: :

Thanks about my screenname I literally have NO CLUE WHAT THE HECK I AM DOING, FIRST MAJOR FAMILY VACATION AND I AIM HIGH AT THE HARDEST TO PLAN

I have many many many thoughts so I am sure they are going to be jumbled into pleas for help randomly until the day I leave

Just wanted to add that your mom and dh don't have to sit out as you can use rider swap (somtimes called baby swap) for the rides one or two of your children are to short for.

Just check with the CM before entering the line, fast pass or standby to see how they handle a rider (baby) swap. Most times one parent and the children who meet the height restriction go ahead while the other parent gets a rider switch pass. The first party rides while the others do something else, ice cream, attraction, diaper change etc. Then meet back after the first ride at a designated place/time, then any time that day the other parent and up to two others (three total) can use the swap ticket to ride using the Fast Pass line.

This way tall enough siblings get to ride with mom and dad, mom and dad get to ride with minimal wait and children who are not tall enough don't have to wait!

Our family spends a lot of time in amusement parks and Disney has the lowest height requirements of any parks out there. Our Five year old could ride everything in MK including Space Mountain. She even got to ride Expedition Everest at AK and loved it. I think the only thing she can't ride is Rockin' Rollercoaster.
