Which course would be good for kids ages DD 11, DS 9, and DS 4?
Also, what is a good time to go? During the day? In the evening? We would like to try mini golf this trip. Thank you for all your help.

Winter/Summerland is a great course! Not too challenging for the little ones, great theming! It is right by BB, near the Value resorts and CSR. We go every trip and play both sides.

We generally go at 10am (I think that is the time it opens) and by the time we are done we are ready to head to the pool! I wouldn't choose midday as it would be pretty hot. Evening may be good - we just have always planned it to start the day after breakfast.

Yes, W/S would be my choice also. Winterland especially. Christmas music playing the entire time:D

When to go depends on if you have a car or not. The busses stop running to W/S when BB closes. It is very hot during the day. There are no trees for shade. Evenings are cooler but more crowded.

If you don't have a car and want to play at night, Fantasia course at the Swan is your only option. If you are at park, you can get a bus to the Swan. Or if you are at your resort, take a bus to MGM and boat to Swan.

As to the best time, we've found the middle of the day to be the least crowded. Mostly because it's the hottest time of the day.
The most crowded is evening--almost always so crowded we don't even attempt to play.

Thank you all for your responses. I think W/S it is and we will probably go during the day when it isn't so crowded to give it a try. I am getting so excited.

Have them walk across the bridge. I'm not sure which hole it is, one of the first ones on the Winterland Side. It will be fun to watch what happens when they do. I won't tell you what will happen, but it won't hurt them at all, just surprise them.

We played on the Winterland side two years ago and my kids, ages 13 and 11 at the time, had a blast.

If you are staying offsite and want to play miniature golf on a Disney course do you have to pay to park?

No you don't. Both courses have free parking in their own lots right next to the course. The W/S parking area is smaller than Fantasia Gardens but W/S has the whole BB parking lot next door should their own get filled.

I would definately recommend W/S - I thought it was much better than Fantasia. We went last November in late afternoon on a weekday, and it was not busy. Someone mentioned mo trees - but there were trees - I remember b/c I commented about the fact that there wre leaves all over the course. I thought the course should have been cleaned up a little better, but it might have been a little windy that day.
