Mini-Van for same $ as Intermediate at Dollar Rental

I just checked out the Dollar website to try the GMF code noted on different thread. I noticed that they had a special on Mini-Vans, $29.99/day. So, I clicked on the icon and entered my information. Mind you, I already have a reservation with Dollar for an Intermediate car, Dodge Stratus or similar, for $334.84 for 8 days. The price for a Dodge Caravan or similar came up $332.54. AND THAT INCLUDES ALL TAXES!! It does include a 5% discount with BJ Wholesale which comes to $13.84. I am getting a Mini-van for $2.30 less than an intermeidate car from October 11-19, 2003.

So, anyone in need of renting a mini-van, I would suggest checking out Dollar Rent A Car.

Hope this makes someone else as happy as it does me.

Using a code off Mousesavers we are getting an Intermediate (Stratus) from Dollar for 234.48 (taxes etc. incl.) for 8 days, so it all depends how you book it. ~~

That's a great rate for a minivan, but not such a good one for an intermediate. It's nice to be able to spread out a little bit though!

Okay-I need some help.

When I go to the Dollar site the only minivan deal I can find is the 199.99 per week or 39.99 per day one. Doesn't matter which code I put in I can't find the $29.99/day offer. When I put in GMF my extra day rate jumps to $47/day.

What am I doing wrong?

OK...SORRY SORRY SORRY. The rate is $39.99/day. My mistake. Please forgive me. I got sooo excited with that great rate. I think it's still a great deal though.
