Mini-trip TR ~ Emma's First trip, My first MNSSHP and F&W! LOOKING AHEAD!

I can't imagine you looking even the slightest bit heavy, Nikki -- you're so gorgeous and thin! You'll look fabulous no matter what you wear.

DD's Minnie Mouse costume arrived in the mail yesterday and it's just right. She loves it! In fact, when she tried it on, she kept twirling around the living room in it and couldn't stop smiling. I am SO glad it fits and that she loves it! My older DD has decided that she will wear one of the costumes she already has -- either her Dorothy costume (from "Wizard of Oz" -- she was the lead in the school production last year, hope it still fits!) or her "funky witch" costume that I made her for Halloween last year. Both costumes will be cool and won't interfere with rides. And then, if she decides to be something else for our Halloween party at church and trick or treating (although I think she's too old to go trick or treating...), we have time to find something else. Actually, she and a few of her girlfriends want to do a "Project Runway" challenge and design/make costumes out of newspaper and wear those for Halloween (we did that as a youth group activity at church a few weeks ago and had so much fun).

Anyway...long story short...the girls' costumes for the party are now taken care of. I don't think I'll dress up -- I'll probably just get a cute Halloween t-shirt and wear that. I asked DH again last night if he thinks he will be going with us and he's still noncommittal. I need to see if there are still tickets even available for next Friday night's party....

That's so sweet about your youngest DDs costume! She's going to have a blast!! That sounds fun what your older DD is going to do with making costumes out of newspapers! I can't wait to hear about your trip, too!!

Oh, you get to pack! I love packing - for Disney that is! It means the trip starts soon (ok, in my case, it starts in a few months because I start 'gathering' all my 'stuff' early ).

Well, if you feel you MUST wear something different, I guess you'll just HAVE to buy something at Disney

YES! I am purposely NOT bringing a sweatshirt so, oops, I'll just have to buy one!

I am SUCH a gatherer too! Except this trip snuck up on me so fast I didnt' even have a chance to do that!!

Still packing....trying to get Tom to get his clothes together so I can pack them tonight but he's dilly dallying!

Totally! Just need to pack the last minute things but I'll have to do that either tonight or in the morning.

It's such a short trip, I'm going to be back before you even know it! I need to try and savor every moment.

I'm sooo nervous right now about back to school night, I keep forgetting I'm even going to WDW in the morning!!

My cell phone and ipod are charging right now, then I need to pack my cell charger. I'm about to go do the dishes and I think I'm all set...for the trip anyway! After the dishes, I'm going to practice what I'm going to say to these parents tonight! I can't WAIT for this to be over!!

Haha, it should be reason enough, you are right. But I kind of like the fact that I'm not doing what everyone else is doing. I can't really explain it exactly. Maybe I just want to keep it as my back up when I play "Never Ever." "Never ever have I ever....joined Facebook!" ...and then everybody drinks! God, I haven't played that game in years...I'm getting old.

It's so sad!

I felt like we had so little time. Thank goodness we just had that looong trip a couple of months ago or I'd really be bummed about not staying longer.

Our flight landed almost a 1/2 hour early tonight and we just walked in our door about 15 mins ago. Gotta go to work tomorrow, so it's straight to bed for me! Hopefully I'll start the TR tomorrow! Gotta get my pics uploaded onto the computer.

Just to give you a head start on the TR, I'll say this....going with more people AND a baby was a totally different trip from what we're used to!
