Mini Trip Report from BWV-Rest of the trip

[BWV Dreamin]

Hello fellow disboarders.....I'm picking up free WI-FI thanks to Big River Grill here at BWV. No free internet yet at the villas for members. First and foremost, the weather is absolutely fantastic!! Arrived at BWV on Sat, 4/19, room was ready at 6:00p when we arrived at the villas.Hall carpets are in fantastic shape...look like they've been replaced. Have not seen a trash bag in the hallway for these first 3 days. Room is in fantastic shape, spotless, all glasses ,plates, etc. exceptionally clean. Carpet is excellent condition, ran the jacuzzi, perfect, no dirt! All linens already on the sofa beds, all clean...just can't say enough how great a shape the room is in. We're in a 2 bedroom, 2009-2007 right above the DVC sales center, model room. Great view, just a tad noisy at night, once I close the doors, can't hear a thing. If we were up even one more floor, I don't think we'd hear anything. Noise is only until about 10p, mostly the bells ringing from the bikes. Nothing dramatic. Just a perfect view.

Animal Kingdom on Sunday...got to the park at 10:00a. FP the Safari Ride, went right on Dinosaur, everything looked pretty accesible ride wise. Don't know about EE, wasn't gonna do that one! Crowds were pretty bad about 2:00p, we left for the day then, saw everything we wanted.

At Epcot today, noticably lighter crowds in the morning. Got right on Test track, Mission Space, the Epcot ball ride(can't remember the name!), did have to FP Soarin. We left to go back for lunch at 12:00p, going back at 3:30p for a family pic at Innoventions with the Disney Visa card promo, then onto Biiergarten for dinner. Will get back on in a couple of days. No crowds at BWV resort!! Just wonderful sitting on the balcony, listening to the music. Oh, did have a drink at BR Grill.....$9 for a margarita!!! First and last one of those! Check back in later......

None of my paperwork states any time limit , just only one free 5x7 pic, then you pay for the rest. But I will ask when we go today and post!

It's one free photo per day.

We got a few done during our last stay as we were at BCV and would walk past going to the monorail mid-day ofr oue breaks and so forth.And we get at least one every trip since it started even the DL ones when we were there.

Only thing is you have to use that voucher that day for that free photo.And it has to be picked up on the day it was taken.

The real nice thing is they will all be on your Photopass card if you get the CD or anything else related to that. It has to be the hands down best Photo opertunity at WDW .Characters and handlers are just the best .

The rest of our week at BWV was a little different than the beginning of our trip. As I mentioned, parks weren't too bad on Monday.....but from Tuesday on!!!Kowabonga!!! MK on Tuesday was worse than I thought it would be...but we did see everything we wanted, just trying to navigate the bodies was a feat in itself. The boardwalk at night had just so many people on it, an we did hear some really late noise one night, but after that, it all stopped about midnight! Our last stay on the boardwalk was in September, heard nothing like the noise this time. We had a standard view for our last night, and while it was pretty close to the gutter view, it was quiet. Still had a wonderful, wonderful time. Might have to check out Saratoga Springs for the peace and quiet!

A couple of things to mention....the Disney Visa Meet & Greet photos, if you show them two cards, you get two free pictures. They don't ask if they are the same account or not. There are direct buses for Boardwalk from MK, Beach Club also has their own bus. But this was the only resort like this, all the others we had to stop at Swolphin, BC.

Food comments....Garden Grocer rocks!! Quality of food was excellent, had everything, prompt delivery, saved so much money using them!! The Hess gas station saved us money...wish they carried lunch meats and wine. Giordano's pizza delivery....forget about them!! Pizza was the worst I ever had.

The weather was the most beautiful thing about the whole trip. Low humidity, 85 days, 60 nights. Now back to a rainy week here in Maryland. I feel your pain those in Minnesota!! Now time to unwind, and get depressed about going back to work.
