The new myw plan is going to work out so great for us. We were at WDW from 10/19 - 10/25. We had 10 day non-exp plus passes from ticketmania. Upon arrival I used my Disney rewards to buy MNSSHP tix and to upgrade our tickets to hoppers. Here is what we did.
Day 1 - tired from trip so we just check ed in at POP had dinner and went swimming.
Day 2 - AK from 10-5, then straight to Epcot until about 10:30 (Didn't get back to the room until almost midnight. The kids were so tired after that)
Day 3 - Slept in. Went swimming and relaxed at the pool. After a late lunch we got the kids in their costumes and headed to MNSSHP. SO MUCH FUN!!! It was the highlight of our trip. We stayed until 11:30.
Day 4 - Typhoon Lagoon. We didn't do too many thrill rides- we just treated it like a beach day really. Lots of fun.
Day 5 - MK in the morning, then over to MGM around 2:30. Poured rain (Wilma) around 7:30 so we went back to the resort.
Day 6- Wilma closed down all the parks! MK, Epcot, DTD reopened around 1:00pm. Chip and Dale were in the lobby at Pop signing autographs and the kids thought that was cool. We headed over to DQ after lunch and stayed there all day.
Day 7- WENT HOME : (
The best part- WE HAVE 8 PARK DAYS LEFT ON OUR HOPPERS (AND 3 PLUSSES)!!!
here is our budget breakdown:
$140 airfare for 5 from BWI: FF covered most- we paid out around $140
$0 tranporation: Magical Express (It was great! We loved it)
$562 resort: POP with AAA for 6 nights
$496 balance at end of trip for food, souvies, misc...
$75 cash that we took along for tips...
$1309 2 adult, 2 child non-exp plusses from Ticketmania.
???? MNSSHP and Hopper upgrade (used rewards- I think it would have been about $270)
So it definately comes out on the high side for a family of 5 but we have our tix coverred for at least the next 2 trips. We had such a great time!
