Sounds like you had a good trip so far! Good to hear that your son is keeping busy and making friends (and girlfriend).
So T is for Train... is it an elevated train like Chicago?
Just to clarify - Chicago has both elevated and subway sections. And a few ground-level transition areas, including some in between the inbound and outbound lanes on expressways. But, the elevated part in downtown (the Loop, named for a section of track that literally is a loop) is the most famous part.The "T" seems to be a mixture of actual underground subways like in NYC (or Toronto) and above ground sort of trains (that we call "streetcars" in Toronto, but they seem to be called trains in a lot of US cities...)
