Mini-Meet at BWV 4/27

Hello Gang,

A few of us from the DVC community board are planning to say hi to each other at the BWV Luna Pool at 2:30 on 4/27. None of us knows each other except through our posts on these boards, we've never met in person. I pm'd the people that were going to be at BWV the same time I was and we worked out a time and place.

I was thinking it would be fun to post an invitation to everyone on the DVC board who might be at WDW on the 27th to join us. Especially if you're already planning to pool hop to BWV on that day, please stop by, the more the merrier. We'll be on the left of the pool if you're facing the clown's mouth slide exit. I have a lime green towel that I will have slung over a chair, and I'll put some of those home depot lime green mickey head paint samples somewhere visible.

So far it's my family and three other groups from the DVC DIS boards, feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

We'll be at BWV that week. That is actually our pool day but we were going to hop to SSR or VWL. I'll have to try and make it to the pool at 2:30

I hope you can make it! I'm sure I don't speak solely for myself in saying it would be terrific to meet the folks responsible for all those great room lists! :cheer2:

I am taking two of my grandaughters to WDW and will be staying at BWV from 4/23 to 4/29. Will try to make it to the pool at 2:30.

Yay, the more the merrier! And your grandkids won't be alone, most everyone meeting is bringing kids, age ranges 8 and up. If your grandchildren are younger I can guarantee my 14 year old daughter and her 13 year old friend will look out for them.

Hey there Marilyn, I know I haven't been really good about responding to your pm's, but I am trying to work it out so we will be there on that day as well. Still working on my schedule and my husband just had to leave on an unexpected business trip to CA, he returns on Friday morning and we leave for WDW on Friday afternoon so things have been a bit crazy. I will really try to make it though! Thank you for putting this together and keeping on top of it! I look forward to meeting all of you guys.

Sandy, I would love to meet you as well, I hope that you can make it too!

Hubby & I will be checking in at OKW about noon..Can we pool hop over to you guys? Can we bring our refillable mugs from BCV? the thought is jump over to BCV fill the mugs, jump over to BWV,take some towels, hang a bit,jump back to BCV for a refill and take the towels back to OKW.. :rolleyes1

so can we hang with you guys..we will be the ones with the BCV mugs..Marianne :disrocks:

Hey, that's our scheduled pool day if the weather holds up! We'll be at BWV from 4/24 - 4/29/05.

We'll be the Chinese couple with the 2 little girls. We will be with another couple who have 2 boys. I'll look out for you all. But to be honest I'm kinda shy. Our friends already think I'm a bit Disney crazed. :crazy:

DH rolls his eyes everytime I'm on the Disboards. :sad2:

Can you IMGAGINE what they would all think or say if they saw me with a brunch of other disney fanatics gaggling together with lime green all over! :rotfl2:

Wait... maybe I'm embarrassed of my friends and family! Maybe I can convince them to stay at the quiet pool and I'll wander over... :rolleyes1

In any case, our friends have never stayed on site before so they just might decide to make Wednesday a park day since MK in open until 1AM and it looks like there will be a showing of Spectromagic that night.

We'll see. As of now, 4/27/05 is our off day. Can't wait, driving down on Saturday and then it 2 weeks vacation BABY!!!! No work! :Pinkbounc
