Mini Golf Question

Howdy Everyone,

I know there are two mini-golf courses on property, one at BB and one near the Dolphin resort.

Does anyone know how to access these courses? I called Disney last year, and was told you have to book a party of 25 to use the course at BB. At the time I didn't even know about the Dolphin course, and the CM didn't offer any information about it. However, DH and I were just at the Dolphin a couple of weeks ago, and the course looked pretty darn empty with just a couple of people playing.

I appreciate any help you can give me. Using one of these two courses would be great fun, but we don't want to make the trek over if we cannot actually use the courses. (we are staying at FW Cabins and will use Disney transport to get around).

Maybe the CM thought you wanted to use it privately?? Anyone can walk up to either of the mini-golf places and play. If you book a MYW package, you even get a certificate for a free round when you buy one.

Winter Summerland is near BB. You can take the BB bus from FW to get there.

Fantasia Gardens is near the Swan/Dolphin resorts. Probably the easiest way to get there from FW would be to go to MK and get the bus to the Swan/Dolphin.

We did Fantasia Gardens about 10 years ago and thought the theming was amazing, and it was quite challenging. I've heard Winter Summerland is a little easier for young ones.

You can be a party of one and play. Just walk up to the window and pay like normal. We have gone with 2 to 10 people, and we have been to both courses. If you are going to the Fantasia one, I think we took the bus to the Swan hotel. Walk from the bus, through the lobby, straight through the back (you will pass a fountain), out the back door, turn left after exiting the main building and walk towards the street. You will see the course across the street. It's actually very easy to find. The BB one is to the right of the main BB entrance. Have fun!

The miniature golf courses at Disney World are just like your neighborhood Putt-Putt course. With higher prices and more theming. You walk up, you pay your money, you golf.

Well, there is another difference. At Disney World, if the course if busy, you'll get a "tee time" to come back. That's to spread out the players so you don't all get bunched up and spend time doing nothing but waiting for the three groups in front of you to finish the hole.

Longest we've had to wait was 45 minutes at Fantasia Gardens course the Saturday of Memorial Day.

The Fantasia course is beautiful! Please enjoy it for us, because we won't have time to play mini-golf this trip.

With the MYW package, there is 1 round free with another round purchased of mini golf at either of those 2 courses..1 round free per room!

We have played both these courses more than once and love them all!

Summer Winterland is our favorite, however. The themeing (as you would expect from Disney) is out of this world. It is more fun than you can imagine and especially at night is a lot of fun! (Why at night? The Christmas lights just push it over the top at night...they are on in the daytime, but you can't see them as well). These courses (there are two) have many surprises. You will love them. Every hole has something to make you laugh out loud.

Fantasia is great as well. Is it much less colorful...mainly green with grey statues. But fun, none the less. Fantasia, however, are more difficult courses. And one of them is quite difficult indeed.

Like the others, I have no idea why the CM said that about 25 people My family of four has played numerous times.

Get to WS just like the above poster said, take the BB bus. Just make sure BB will be open and therefore the buses will be running back to your resort when you finish. We took our car to both.....
