I'm interested in reviews (good and bad) of the new Hollywood Drive-in Golf courses and the new Superstar Character Breakfast. We'll be at US/IOA Thanksgiving week and I was interested in checking these out and wondering if they are worth the cost. Any opinions would be helpful! Thanks!

I can't speak to the mini golf since we didn't try it, but it certainly looks cool.

Haven't done the character breakfast in a while, but when we did in the past, even though we are adults with no kids, we'd do it just for the buffet. One time we had the grinch come sit with us and he was having fun throwing food and other stuff at the cat in the hat - we had a good laugh from him. I think it was quiet, otherwise he probably wouldn't have even stopped by since we didn't have any kids.

So if you have kids, I'd say its worthwhile.

The Minigolf is my favorite in Orlando, which says a lot because there are a lot of good ones, including Disneys Fantasia Gardens. Both sides are very fun with a ton of "little touches."

We did the Hollywood Drive-In mini golf a couple of weeks ago and had a great time! We did it at night, that's when I would recommend to go, the lighting and effects are really cool. There are two courses to pick from, a Sci-Fi theme and a Haunted theme. We did the Haunted theme and loved it, and glad we chose it, it looked a little more fun than the Sci-Fi theme. You need to pick the side you want when you pay.
There is one adult allowed to get in free with kids in each party, otherwise everyone in your party has to pay whether you play or not.

It certainly wasn't cheap, but great entertainment for a night out. We thought it was worth doing, knowing the cost of the night out would be expensive. Think of it as a "theme park" miniature golf experience.
(PS...we love Disney's mini golf, but this one at night anyway, way surpasses them!)
Have fun!

We did the haunted mini golf.......I`m not a huge fan of mini golf but I loved it.

I too would go to either or both at night, it`s so much better, and it`s a huge amount of fun. We wanted to do both courses but we were shattered after a long day.

I think it`s tremendous value for money.

Can`t speak of character breakfast as we didn`t do it. But spoke to a few peeps who had done it and said it was really good......not busy and the interaction was good.

How busy were the golf courses? We're interested in checking them out.

We were quite surprised actually, it wasn`t as busy as we thought it would be.

There were people in front and behind us, but we all got to take our time and enjoy it so we didn`t feel rushed.

I can`t remember what night we went, it was midweek around 8pm.
